Occupational exposure in health services during and after injection of the drug and the process of suturing the wound, and the most accidents due to sharp objects / syringes (63.2%) during infusion 33.4%, blood collection and injection (29 , 9%). The results of the study showed that respondents who were exposed to exposure to blood had a risk of acquiring HIV 15.95 times higher than those of respondents who were not exposed to exposure. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to the use of VCT by Midwives in the City of Bandung. The sample in this study were 70 people. Data analysis used nonparametric chi square statistics. Results : 81.4 percent respondents had a history of needle stick punctures, exposure to amniotic fluid as 68.6 percent, 57.1 percent leaked gloves, no gloves when 40 percent were invasive, others 15.7 percent. respondents have a high vulnerability to HIV infection from their occupational risk (57.1%), respondents have a high obstacle perception for VCT (58.6%) and most respondents have a low perception of the benefits of VCT (72.9%) whereas most respondents use VCT (77,1). There is a significan corellation between perceived barriers and the benefits of VCT with a p value (<0.005). Respondents who had high
obstacle perceptions had a chance of 2.2 times not to use VCT (OR 2.2) compared to respondents who had a low perception of obstacle for VCT. Suggestions are needed to socialize post exposure exposure programs so that midwives can take advantage of VCT.
