Faktor Determinan Minat Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) Terhadap Pemakaian Kontrasepsi Implan

Abstract

The use of implan contraception is very efficient because it can be used to prevent pregnancy for up to 3 years with an effectiveness rate of 97-99%. This study aims to determine the determinants of women's interest in the use of implan contraceptives. This study used an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The sample used was 83 people using non probability random sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the chi square and spearman-rank test. The results showed that the determinants of interest in women of childbearing age in the use of implan contraceptives were husband support (p value <0.001) and information on health professionals (p value 0.009). From these results, it can be concluded that the factors related to the interest of women with reproductive age couples (PUS) in the use of implan contraceptives are husband support and information from health workers. Support for husbands and provision of information by health workers influence women in decision making. The husband's involvement in providing information about contraception has an important role, so that women can discuss to determine the right contraception.
